Thank you for supporting Queer Latines! As a small team, every purchase and membership directly supports our teachers, our programming, and the people who keep this community running. Below are our policies for the 10-Week Spanish Program and for Queer Latines Membership.

Note: Our event ticket policy is handled separately through Luma at checkout.

Spanish Program Refunds & Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel before the fall program starts, you're eligible for a full refund up until September 6 — one week before our program orientation on September 13. After September 6, all sales are final. Given the size of our team and the nature of our programming, we're unable to offer refunds or cancellations once the program has begun, including partway through the 10 weeks.

Plans changed? You can transfer your spot in the current cohort to a friend, as long as you let us know by the end of the program’s first week — September 20. Email us at hello@queerlatines.com with your friend's name and we'll update our roster for you. After September 20, spots cannot be transferred.

Need to pause? Request a deferral. If a health issue, family emergency, or other serious circumstance keeps you from continuing, you can request a one-time deferral to the next cohort. Deferral requests must be sent to hello@queerlatines.com by the end of the third week of the program. For the Fall 2026 cohort, that date is October 4. Requests received after October 4 cannot be accepted.

A few things to know about deferrals:

• Deferrals are one-time only and move your enrollment to the next scheduled cohort (currently starting January 10, 2027).
• Once you defer, your access to the current cohort’s classes and community spaces ends.
• Your seat in the next cohort is reserved at no extra cost.

On a payment plan? If you're paying through Afterpay or Klarna, your installments continue on schedule regardless of attendance or deferral. Your spot is reserved and considered paid in full through your enrollment, so pausing attendance doesn't pause billing.

If we need to reschedule a class, your enrollment carries over automatically. If the new date doesn't work for you, reach out and we'll do what we can to help.

Outside of the options above, we're not able to offer refunds for missed classes, late arrivals, or other circumstances outside our control. This policy allows us to keep paying our teachers fairly and keep this program running for the community at this price point. Thank you for understanding, and for being part of it.

Monthly Membership Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Your Queer Latines membership is billed monthly, and you're free to cancel anytime. Because membership gives you ongoing access to our Discord community and monthly Spanish practice for the month you're billed, we're not able to offer refunds for partial months or unused time.

When you cancel, you'll keep your access through the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again after that. You can cancel you membership by logging into Memberful.
